Gammello-Pearson, PLLC, a Baxter law firm, is looking for a full-time legal assistant to begin work immediately. Responsibilities will include office support duties, answering phones, screening potential client phone calls, greeting visitors, scheduling of appointments, filing and transcribing dictation. Successful applicants must be motivated to work in a high pace legal environment, must interact with the public and clients in a professional manner, be able to keep sensitive matters confidential and have basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, Outlook etc. Bookkeeping experience and knowledge of TABS and/or Quickbooks is a plus but not a requirement. Compensation will be at least $17.00 per hour and is negotiable based upon training and/or experience. Benefits include paid time-off, sick leave and a health care plan is available.

Daniel Hawley has become a partner at Gammello-Pearson PLLC effective January 1, 2018. Dan joined the firm in January 2012 after serving for more than two years as a law clerk for a District Court Judge. Dan Hawley was elected Secretary of the Fifteenth District of the Minnesota Bar Association at the District’s Annual Meeting on June 12, 2015. Dan will take office on July 1, 2015 and serve until July 1, 2016. This will be Dan’s fourth consecutive term as Secretary of the District.
Michael Perry retired from the firm and the practice of law on December 31, 2014, after more than fifty years in practice in the city of Little Falls. From December 15, 1964, through the fall of 1975 Mike was engaged in the general practice of law with the Rosenmeier & Simonett Law Office. From 1975 until December 2011, Mike practiced law as a solo practitioner and with his late partner Thomas A. Godzala who became a District Court Judge. Since December 2011, Mike practiced law with Gammello, Qualley, Pearson & Mallak, PLLC. We wish Mike and Dorothy the best in retirement.
